Welcome to
Journey on The Spectrum
Welcome to
Journey on The Spectrum
I’m Yahminah, a mother, a guide, and a student of life. And this is my brilliant son Micaiah who has been one of my greatest teachers. He was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome when he was just three years old. Since then, life has taken us on a journey that no roadmap could have prepared me for, but one that has transformed our lives in ways we never imagined.
This is our journey. And you are welcome here. In this space, I share the challenges, joys, and experiences that have shaped our lives. The moments of celebration and breakthrough… The days when we had to dig deep for grace and understanding… And everything in between. I talk about what I’ve taught him and what I'm helping him learn, but also what he continues to teach me every single day: How to pause, pace, prepare, and above all cultivate peace, even in the moments that feel anything but peaceful.
This journey has stretched me, healed me, and expanded me as a woman, a mother, and a human being. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So buckle up! This vehicle only stops for bathroom breaks and the occasional ice cream run and sewing supplies or groceries when Micaiah is working on a new project or recipe (Because life on the spectrum requires snacks. Trust me.)
If you’re on a similar road, or just curious about what life on the spectrum looks like from the inside, I invite you to walk with us. Laugh with us. Learn with us.
There’s life beyond the labels. There’s light on this spectrum.
And there’s a place for you here.

EXPLORE
Spectrum Knowtes
Where love leads, lessons unfold, and life on the spectrum is lived out loud.
Spectrum Knowtes is a soul-spoken collection born from my real, raw, and reverent journey as a mother raising a brilliant, beautiful son on the Autism Spectrum. This isn’t just a category that lives within my Life Knowtes Sphere, it’s a chronicle of our lived experience. The highs that made our hearts dance. The lows that tested our patience and stretched our faith. The ordinary moments that became extraordinary. The challenges that revealed strength we didn’t know we had. And the miracles that showed up in the middle of the mess.
These Knowtes are filled with insight, humor, revelation, and epiphanies from the inside out. They hold the unfiltered truth of what it means to raise, protect, advocate for, support, and celebrate a neurodiverse child in a world that doesn’t always understand. They reflect what I’ve learned not just about Autism, but about grace, growth, patience, identity, communication, and unconditional love.
This is where you’ll find stories that soothe and stretch you. Tools that help. Wisdom that hugs. And words that remind you that you're not alone. Whether you're a parent, caregiver, teacher, advocate, or simply someone who wants to understand the spectrum more deeply, this space is for you. It’s for us.
Here, we center neurodiversity. We honor our rhythm. We tell the truth. We laugh. We cry. We reflect. We recalibrate. We advocate. And above all—we keep loving out loud.
Welcome to our world. One Knowte at a time.

Meet
The Phenomenal Man
He’s my son. My joy. My teacher. My reminder that brilliance comes in many forms. Micaiah Judah is a phenomenal young man on the autism spectrum with a mind that sees the world in extraordinary ways. He loves to draw, he's a great cook, designs and builds superhero suits, he likes wearing suits like James Bond (for some reason lol - well when he feels like it lol), he plays the piano, dreams up inventions, asks the best questions, and believes in helping people simply because it’s the right thing to do.
He’s currently in college, working on big projects, and preparing to launch a podcast and documentary that will inspire others on and off the spectrum.
I call him The Phenomenal Man, because that’s exactly who and what he is.
Visit his site. Share his mission. Sow into his dreams.
Let’s show the world just how far this kind of greatness can go
Thank you in advance for supporting him!

How prayer helps me
There were moments on this journey where nothing made sense, and words just didn’t reach far enough. In those moments, prayer and meditation became my refuge. A sacred rhythm. A place to cry, release, listen, and realign. Raising a child on the autism spectrum has taught me that guidance doesn’t always come from textbooks or timelines, it often comes in the stillness. In the surrender. In the whisper that says, “You’re not doing this alone.” Below, you’ll find one of the prayers I created, birthed in both challenge and grace, that has carried me through. It’s more than words; it’s an offering. One I now place in your hands, heart, and journey, with love.
May it meet you where you are. May it remind you that you are never walking this path alone.
Prayer on The Spectrum
(For every parent, caregiver, and soul walking this journey of love)
God, give me the grace
to see the beauty beyond the behavior,
the brilliance beneath the label,
and the light in moments others overlook.
When the world is loud and the day feels long,
quiet my spirit so I can listen beyond words,
feel beyond touch,
and respond with love, even when I’m running low.
Guide me in the moments where patience is thin,
when the schedule shifts,
the meltdown comes,
or the plan I prayed for looks nothing like the path we’re walking.
Remind me that progress doesn’t always come in big leaps,
sometimes, it’s in eye contact,
a shared laugh,
a calm morning,
or the joy in a repetitive song played for the 127th time.
Strengthen my heart
to advocate boldly,
love fiercely,
and celebrate fully,
even when others don’t see the victory the way I do.
Give me eyes to see the sacred in the spectrum,
the purpose in every pause,
the miracles in the milestones,
and the divine in our differences.
Help me lead with compassion,
breathe through the chaos,
and find rest in the rhythm we’ve created,
not the one the world tries to hand us.
And when I doubt,
when I question,
when I wonder if I’m doing enough,
wrap me in peace and whisper,
“You were chosen for this. And you're not alone.”
This journey isn’t always easy,
but it’s beautiful.
It’s holy.
And it’s ours.
Thank you for the love that guides me,
the strength that holds me,
and the light that walks beside me, every single step of the way.
Amen.
