LoverStanding
A Healing Philosophy for Loving & Being Understood
Curated by Yahminah McIntosh
Welcome to LoverStanding
LoverStanding: A Movement Rooted in Love, Led by Yahminah McIntosh. LoverStanding is not just a philosophy, it’s a paradigm shift. Created and founded by Yahminah McIntosh, this heart-led, healing framework redefines the way we experience love and understanding, as powerful, intertwined forces for transformation.
This is where love becomes a practice. Where healing becomes sacred. Where relationships rise into soul alignment. LoverStanding empowers you to love in ways that are conscious, courageous, and deeply nourishing. To be loved in ways that feel safe, seen, and spiritually attuned. Whether in partnership, parenting, friendship, or your relationship with self, this is the path to emotional depth, soulful communication, and relational mastery.
You’re not just learning how to love, you’re learning how to lead with love.
This is love with rhythm.
Love with roots.
Love with revelation.

From my heart to yours
I’m so grateful you’re here. This isn’t the beginning of something new, this is the unveiling of something that’s been quietly nurtured behind the scenes for years. LoverStanding is a space I’ve intimately lived, offered, and walked through with private clients, sharing wisdom, healing, and love-centered clarity in ways that have transformed lives from the inside out. What’s happening now is simply an expansion. A refinement. A welcome.
As this digital home continues to unfold, I’m excited to share what has long been sacred behind closed doors, now made accessible to more hearts and more homes. From upcoming sessions and intimate workshops to books, journals, and curated experiences designed to support your healing and connection journey. What’s coming is deeply intentional and powerfully aligned.
Until then, take care of your heart, move mindfully, be intentional with your time, your truth, and your transformation. Trust your process. Honor your heart. And most of all, remember: your capacity to love begins with your capacity to be lovingly understood.
With love and intention,
Yahminah

The Philosophy
LoverStanding teaches us that love thrives when understanding is present, not just communication, not just presence, but a real attunement to the language, needs, and sacred design of the person or relationship at hand.
It is…
-
The pause before the reaction
-
The clarity before the assumption
-
The grace inside the disagreement
-
The listening that heals, not just hears
-
The space that holds, not controls
-
The love that sees the soul, not just the surface
Who it's for
LoverStanding is for anyone ready to explore love beyond fleeting emotion, ready to embody it as a frequency, a daily practice, a sacred way of being. This work isn’t about fitting into roles or labels. It’s about resonance. It’s for those who feel the call to live, relate, and connect from the heart, with presence, with courage, and with intention.
You might find yourself here if you are:
A couple longing to deepen your bond, communicate with honesty, and feel safe in each other’s truth.
A parent seeking to cultivate intuitive, connected relationships with your children.
A single soul healing from past wounds or preparing to invite in a conscious, aligned partnership.
An individual ready to re-learn the sacred art of self-love-fully, tenderly, and without condition.
A spiritual seeker drawn to love as a force of wholeness, presence, and divine remembrance.
Whether you’re just beginning this journey or finding your way back to it, LoverStanding welcomes you, whole, worthy, and as you are. In this space, love isn’t just something you feel, It’s something you remember. Something you return to and Something you become.

Love Knowtes
Take a breath. Let the noise soften. Let the pace slow.
This is your moment to pause, lean in, and reconnect.
Welcome to Love Knowtes, a space where love meets wisdom, truth, and lived experience.
Here, love is more than a feeling. It’s a rhythm. A lens. A practice.
A choice we return to, again and again. From the quiet strength of self-love to the ache of heartbreak…
From the beauty of connection to the courage of letting go, Love Knowtes holds space for it all.
It’s honest. It’s reflective. It’s real. It doesn’t rush you. It invites you.
To sit with the truth, to soften into it, to grow from it. Whether you’re grieving, growing, loving,
or learning you’re not alone. This space is here for you.
So sit back. Get comfortable. Breathe deep.
Let the words meet you where you are, because here, love writes back.

The LoverStanding Prayer
by Yahminah McIntosh
Divine God of All Understanding, Anchor of Love and Light
Teach me how to love in a way that heals.
Not just in word, but in energy, in action, in presence.
Let my love not be loud and empty, but quiet and full
Full of listening, full of patience, Full of rhythm and revelation.
When ego wants to speak, let compassion answer first.
When assumptions rise, let curiosity take their place.
Teach me to pause long enough to hear what’s underneath the silence.
Teach me to see the soul beneath the behavior.
Let me not love for validation, but for liberation.
Let me not need to be right, but be willing to be real.
Make me fluent in my own feelings, so I can hold space for the heart of another.
Let my love be clear, and my boundaries be kind.
May I choose partnership, not possession.
May I choose truth, not performance.
May I choose depth, not drama.
May I choose to understand before I try to be understood.
And when it gets hard,
when the mirror gets sharp,
when the moment calls for growth
May I rise.
May I choose to repair.
To recalibrate.
To relearn how to love in the ways I never received.
Because I know now
Love is not just a feeling.
It’s a frequency.
It’s a choice.
It’s a spiritual practice.
And I am ready to practice.
Amen. And Ashe.
